My name is Warren.  I'm a Marine Corps veteran living in the Texas hill country with my wife, dog and two shotguns. Okay, you're probably thinking, this guy is a kook.  He probably lives in an underground bunker with three years worth of powdered eggs and ancient C-rations.

Yes, I am definitely a kook, but probably not for the reasons you think.  You see, I have an obsession with a medium called tabletop games.  I grew up in the northeast with my brothers where I spent a significant amount of my childhood playing these tabletop games - Dungeons and Dragons probably was front and center for the longest time.

Gaming in many ways shaped who I am as a person and even led me to pursue things in my career (such as joining the military), which I might not have chosen otherwise.

This site is primarily a place for me to share musings on games and hopefully the serialized version of the science fiction novel I'm writing, which is still very much a work in progress.
